From idea to a working SaaS MVP in one focused build.
Faro Analytics, an early-stage startup, needed a reporting product to put in front of its first paying customers.
Faro Analytics — Digital ProductChallenge
The founders had a clear idea and early customer conversations, but no product — and needed something demonstrable and usable within a tight runway.
With limited funding and no in-house engineering team yet, they needed a partner who could move from a rough concept to a real, testable product quickly, without cutting corners on the core workflow their future customers would rely on.
Solution
We ran a short UX phase to lock the core workflow, then built a focused MVP covering only the features needed to onboard real customers and collect meaningful usage data, deliberately leaving lower-priority features for later phases.
The stack was chosen for speed and future flexibility: a React front end, a Node.js API and a PostgreSQL database, structured so new modules could be added later without reworking the foundation.
Result
The MVP let the founders start onboarding paying customers and gathering real product feedback instead of guessing at the roadmap, and the codebase was structured so the next phase of features could be added without a rebuild.
