Challenge

Their previous store ran on an outdated theme with a cluttered, multi-step checkout and no real product filtering, so shoppers on mobile — the majority of traffic — regularly gave up before paying.

Browsing the catalogue meant scrolling through long, unsorted lists with no way to narrow results by room, material or price, which pushed engaged visitors to abandon their search before they ever reached a product page.

Solution

We redesigned the store around a simplified three-step checkout, built custom filtering for their catalogue, and integrated their courier and payment providers directly into WooCommerce so orders required no manual handling.

Every screen was rebuilt mobile-first, with fewer form fields, clearer shipping options and a persistent cart summary — removing the friction points that previously caused shoppers to drop out mid-purchase.

Result

Checkout abandonment dropped noticeably in the weeks after launch, and the team reported far fewer manual order corrections since integrations replaced spreadsheet-based handoffs.
